Exciting News! Dude Time Doodles just turned TWO! As part of the celebration, the store is offering ALL Christmas images at 50% off from October 31, 2012, through November 13, 2012. That is super exciting!

For our month end Blog Hop, the Dude Time Doodles design team has created some fun items showing off some of the great images in the 50% off sale. For my card I used Tangled because he reminded me of my hubby whose least favorite job is putting up the lights at Christmas time

If you arrived at my blog from Dawn you are in the right place if not you want to start at the beginning Dude Time DoodlesBe sure and check out all the design team creations and stop by the store and pick up one of your favorite images at 50% off (one of the DT members is the mystery hostess and will have some candy so be sure and leave comments when you visit).

Today I'd like to share a little CAS card I made for Case This Sketch.

I received my new "stamp of the week" from Unity last week and knew it would be just perfect for this sketch. It's called Entwined Poinsettia and it's so pretty.

I also used a new Tim Holtz textured fades embossing folder called Winter Berries.

The sketch for this week is:

I decided to make a white on white card with just a pop of red.

Halloween Printers Tray Shadow Box / UnBOOlievable Blog Hop

Hi everyone and welcome to the "UnBOOlievable" Blog Hop!

If you have arrived at my blog from Connie's blog Connie Can Crop you are at the right place, but if you just happened upon my blog you'll want to start at the beginning at Lisa's blog HoneyBearz Designs.

Halloween is my absolute favorite holiday! I just think it is so much fun. I love decorating for Halloween and pretty much transform most of my house into a spooky setting. I love coming up with new decor items each year.

For my project I decided to make a new decoration for my home by creating a shadowbox printers tray. The shadowbox itself is a 3 part cut file from Silhouette Studio which I cut out with my Cameo. For the background I used papers from the Black Widow collection by We R Memory Keepers.

I decorated each box with many elements and I used the drippy goo edge punch by Martha Stewart to put across the front of each box.

For the following two boxes I used a scary tree cut from Silhouette Studio, a bat button by Little Yellow Bicycle, a haunted house button from Michaels, a mouse cut from the Happy Hauntings Cricut cartridge and a chandelier sticker from Black Widow coll. by We R Memory Keepers, moss, lichen and cotton batting.

For the next boxes I used another sticker from Black Widow by We R Memory Keepers, more buttons from Michaels, moss and lichen.

The following box has a Dollar Store skeleton and a chipboard bat by Cosmo Cricket, moss and lichen.

For this last box I cut gravestones both from Silhouette Studio cut files and Cricut Happy Hauntings cartridge. The hand was cut from Happy Hauntings. The spider web and spiders are stickers by JoLee's. Moss on the bottom again.

I have a little blog candy you can have a chance to win.

All you need to do is:
1. Be a follower of my blog.
2. Leave me a comment and let me know your favorite holiday.

Now you are off to Janea's blog Recollection Alley .

If you came from Becka's blog Creations With Becka then you're in the right spot. If not, then start at the beginning with Cicily's bog Pink Dalmatian Scrapper.

DIY Home Decor is all the rage & now with tools like Pinterest we can be inspired & instructed on just about anything. So why not take those craft supplies & create something unique & decorative in our homes, inside or out? Sit back, relax, pin any & all inspiration & see what we've created!

For my project I embellished two wood framed mirrors, I've had them for awhile and forgot where I purchased them :)

I glued paper from My Minds Eye on to the frames and after the glue dried I sanded the edges.
I then added my misc. embellishments, die cuts, flowers, chipboard, rub ons, ribbon, etc.

I think they would be great for a girls room or a dorm room, etc.

Halloween is my favorite holiday and I throw an annual Halloween party with a different theme each year. This year my theme is Hero's and Villains.

I'd like to share with you the invitation and party favors I created.

For the invitation I made a gatefold card. The images were Silhouette Studio cut files along with files I downloaded from the internet.

For the party favors I downloaded a file from the internet and transfered it to my Print Shop program where I flipped it and then printed it out on fabric transfer paper.
Then it was a matter of cutting out the images and ironing them onto my canvas bags.

I decided to fill the inside of the bags with Hersheys Kisses. Again, I downloaded some files from the internet. I resized the images in my Print Shop program, printed them out on sticker paper and
then punched them out with a 3/4" circle punch and attached them to the bottom of the Kisses.

I have some blog candy up for grabs:

All you have to do to be entered in the drawing for these goodies is:

1. Be a follower of my blog
